James Baldwin uses Gabriel in Go Tell it on the Mountain to show John that religion is not just what you preach; it is a lifestyle.
In the intro, I'll explain who John and Gabriel are so I don't have to do that in the thesis. Does this sound ok?
Haley--It looks interesting. Have you looked up Gabriel in the Bible? I'm sure that will add to your understanding of this character. Good luck!
